The Variety of Texas 2023 Cinema Passport entitles the cardholder and their guest to free movies for the entire year at participating Texas theaters.

As a Variety VIP, your special cinema Passport donation is a

$300 minimum gift (regularly $500+)

Thanks to the generosity of our friends in the cinema industry, the participating Texas theaters listed below, 100% of your Cinema Passport donation benefits Variety of Texas and its mission. We appreciate your support of this program!

Please note, the pass is not valid:

  • on holidays

  • for more than one movie at a time, one theater per day

  • for any movie commencing after 8pm on Friday or Saturday

  • for special screenings, including IMAX, IMAX 3D, Showbiz SDX, RealD, Cinemark XD, or other specialty formats

  • when distribution has a “no pass” policy for a film or when other restrictions apply

  • for all drive-in admissions, but at the purview of each theater

All guests must adhere to theater’s COVID-safety protocols; misuse will result in the surrender of this card without recompense.

Be prepared to show your photo ID; Cinema Passport is not transferable.

The Variety of Texas 2022 Cinema Passport will admit the cardholder and one guest to any of the participating movie theaters owned and operated in Texas, shown below:

Mailing Information

Cinema Passport is being shipped in batches this year to help facilitate processing. The first two shipments, intended for holiday delivery, have already been mailed.
All Cinema Passports purchased by December 31st will be posted the 1st week of the New Year. (Cheers!) The final batch will be mailed out on February 1st.

❓QUESTION: Can a friend and I share a Cinema Passport card or account?

✅ ANSWER: YES! We will put BOTH of your names on the CARD itself, which is often shared between two people.

1) You (as the 1st named cardholder) and the secondary individual shown on the Cinema Passport card, could present it for two tickets together.

2) You could use the card to bring a separate guest altogether.

3) Or, your #2 named cardholder could head out to the movies with a guest.

… that’s two tickets. Free. Every day of 2023. All year long. Available to all Texans for their $500+ donation to Variety of Texas.
